Goal Contract

We perfectionists love moving the goalposts. We set out to achieve something, and then when we manage it, we don’t congratulate ourselves - instead we beat ourselves up for not achieving something even better. To avoid this, use this Goal Contract to set out what exactly you’re trying to achieve, how achieving it will reflect positively on what sort of person you are, and how you’re going to reward yourself when you succeed. Stick it somewhere you’ll see every day. Don’t let your future self wriggle out of acknowledging your successes!
